Every mental health patient and their family are different in their unique ways. My goal is to create a special individualized treatment plan to help every one of my patients achieve the best possible outcome.
As a patient, you can rest assured that you will get my undivided attention and you will be cared for with a professional attitude. You will be given adequate time to discuss your symptoms without rushing. You will enjoy a non-judgmental environment and encounter during each visit. While I must trust that you will honestly share with me your symptoms to enable me to create the best possible treatment plan, I expect you also to trust my skill and judgment to take care of you.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and licensed as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in Washington. I have been in healthcare for over 15 years and enjoy what I do.

My Focus Areas
My current practice focuses on patients 18 and older, who are experiencing a variety of mental health illnesses, which include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress disorder/trauma, ADHD, bipolar disorders, and schizophrenia.
Off duty, I enjoy fishing and training my kids to play tennis.

Above and Beyond recognize some of the greatest obstructions to obtaining mental health care are our busy lifestyles, commute times to and from appointments, and accessing a provider due to the significant shortage of mental health providers. Telepsychiatry offers an incredible opportunity to cut through these barriers and significantly improve care.
Telepsychiatry, also called telepsych, is a sub-specialty of telemedicine that permits the conveyance of mental health care via videoconferencing. This means that Above and Beyond Psychiatry can take care of patients located anywhere in the state where the provider is licensed.

Electronic Health Record
The electronic health record of Above and Beyond Psychiatry utilizes a simple-to-utilize system that basically requires clicking a link to open the video conference. The video conference is HIPAA compliant and offers a secure and confidential environment from the comfort and consolation of your home, office, or area of your choosing.
Visits will usually require between 30 and 60 minutes depending on your situation. Please be prepared to start on time as we will end on time. We strive to be punctual with all of our clients.
The prescribing provider will discuss any past treatments, current medications, treatment recommendations, and oftentimes medications may be prescribed or refilled at the first meeting.
